Dr. Trevor Deck

Dr. Trevor Deck obtained his Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Ottawa and completed his clinical internship at the Ottawa Centre for Psychological Services. He also completed supervised placements at the Ottawa Couple and Family Institute, the Lakehead Psychiatric Hospital (Thunder Bay), the Thunder Bay Regional Hospital & Community Mental Health Centre and the Rideau Correctional & Treatment Centre. Dr. Deck has provided psychological services since 1994. He is currently in private practice in Sudbury.

Dr. Deck regularly works with adults who have been referred by insurance companies, WSIB, rehabilitation firms and other sources. He treats a range of issues, including depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress, phobias, pain management, anger management, sleep problems, marital problems and other issues.

Dr. Deck is registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. He is a member of the Canadian Academy of Psychologists in Disability Assessment and an associate member of the Canadian Society of Medical Evaluators.

Lanah Hart, BA, MACP, RP (Qualifying)

Lanah has always been passionate about mental health issues and the helping profession. She returned to her studies at a later age, to complete a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (with honours) at Laurentian University. Inspired with helping others, she then completed a Masters of Arts in Counselling Psychology, through Yorkville University’s online program. Under Dr. Deck’s supervision, she completed a 9-month practicum at Deck Psychological Services, the final component of her graduate program. Upon completion, she continued offering counselling services until recently achieving her professional designation, as a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). She is also a member in good standing of the Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals (OAMHP).

Lanah works with adults, children, families and couples to treat a range of issues, including depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress, pain management, anger management, phobias, family-related issues and more. She works with individuals who have been referred by WSIB and insurance companies, as well as, self-referrals.  In-person and tele-health services are offered.

On her time off, Lanah spends time outdoors with her family and dogs. She enjoys travelling and meeting new people and exploring new cultures. She finds balance through self-care measures, such as meditation, physical activities, reading, and cooking.


Services may be available from an associate who has a master’s level training in psychology or is in the process of completing their master’s degree in psychology. Dr. Trevor Deck supervises all associates.
